Upgraded to Ubuntu 7.10, now resolution stuck at 1600x1200

Actually, I looked up the bug and it's almost certainly your graphics
card driver that is the issue. The gnome-randr-applet hasn't been
updated; the control panel applet has been. What is your graphics card
driver?
