SCOPE OF WORK:

This position plays a key role providing infrastructure engineering
solutions for distributed systems for medium to large complex
applications. This role will support multiple projects and will be
accountable for gathering business requirements and converting
requirements into hardware/software solutions and designs. 

 

COMPETENCIES:

Must have expertise in SAN Storage (EMC, HDS, NetApps, or SAN Switches)
and Backup (Veritas, Logato, TSM, STK, or IBM) infrastructure, Server
knowledge is a plus (Windows or Unix). Selected candidate will be able
to display experience developing and documenting methods and procedures,
handling multiple tasks simultaneously, the ability to remain flexible
and success in being a change agent.

1) 5 years minimum SAN Storage (EMC, HDS, NetApps, or SAN Switches) or
Backup (Veritas, Logato, TSM, STK, or IBM) infrastructure/Software

2) Strong understanding of Oracle, Weblogic, Iplanet, or Server OS
(Solaris, AIX, Window 2003, Linux, or HPUX)

3) Excellent analytical research, project management, facilitation and
writing skills. 

4) Strong Leadership skills

5) Excellent communication skills

This position is a Server Engineering role that will design solutions
for Unix, Linux and Windows projects. Ensure business and functional
requirements are gathered and solutions are designed that meet the
projects needs for medium to large scale projects.
