For those that missed it, Bitstream released
<http://www.bitstream.com/categories/products/fonts/vera/> a new font
called Vera in to the public domain. It's really nice at can be obtained
from:

http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/ttf-bitstream-vera/1.10/

Anyways, I figured out how to make Java use it as it's default for
everything in both windows and Linux. It's much more readable than
Lucidia which is used by default. Read more here:
