No. Nothing works.

_Maybe_ if you run the current office suite on Wine or crossover or 
something, but nothing else - abiword, star office, open office, koffice 
whatever - works for .doc consistently. mail it to a friend on a windows 
box, and keep as copy of what he sends back.
