Webcam software/hardware

Does anyone have any suggestions for a Linux based webcam solution?  I'd
love to use this product: http://www.inetcam.com/  

The problem is, it's in Windows.  The 4 way video switcher is a neat
concept, and we could certainly put it to good use.  Right now I've got a
camera on my NT box, but my Linux server is doing all the work -- it's
mapped via Samba and takes the picture and FTP's it to my server in St.
Louis.  It works pretty slick so far.  Now if I could do it with more
cameras . . . . all on Linux.
