The 4.3.3 libes. This gets asked and replied a few times a week.. maybe you
ought to read c.o.l. a bit more often. Yes, the feed is big, but it's possible
to read c.o.l. and number of other groups as well.
The solutions:
Be sure you have the mount-0.99.6. If you don't have it, go and get it.
Remove any 'rdev >/etc/mtab' lines from your /etc/rc.
Be sure you have correct entry for your root fs in the /etc/fstab.
Mount the filesystems with 'mount -av' in /etc/rc. (Check that /etc/mtab*
gets removed BEFORE the mount)
