Thanks for all those who reponsed to my question about compiling xdtm.
I have successfully compiled it (not exactly 'Out of the Box' though).

One further question. Seems that xdtm is incompatible with libXpm 3.2g
at sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/libs, I get core dumps. However, libXpm
3.2f does work with it. Anyone knows why?
