Subject: Newbie seeks help with IBM PS/Value Point: disk doesn't show up

It's me again, the PS/2 guy.

This time I'm trying to run Linux 0.98-1 on an IBM PS/Value Point 6384-M40.
(It has an ISA bus). fdisk complains that hda is not present, which makes it
kind of hard to install things. (There is definitely a 120-odd-mB disk in the
box -- I recently removed OS/2 2.0 from it.) IBM says that the disk is RLL and
the controller is AT-style, which Linux is supposed to understand. I'm at a
loss as to where to begin looking, and would appreciate any pointers.
