Subject: SLS 1.02 Mail & Mouse Problems

I have just installed SLS 1.02 on my 386/20 w/ 9 MB RAM and two
MFM-disks.

Everything works like a charm with two exceptions:

1. Mail sent to a user is unreadable by that user, because the mailbox
file is owned by root. Any quick fixes for that?

2. Mouse seems to be somewhat strange. I have an ATI VGA Wonder
display adapter with a mouse port; when booting, Linux recognizes the
mouse as a Logitech mouse, regardless of what is plugged into the
mouse port. X11 also works with a Logitech entry in Xconfig, but
Selection doesn't work, with any of the mouse type options. Any idea
what might be wrong with Selection?

Regards,
Wolf
