This is probably a dumb question, but here goes:
The README for SLS states: "boot Linux from disk a1,
mounting the root disk (disk a2)".
Whenever I boot from disk a1, it appears to mount the root
stuff from disk a1, without ever dealing with disk a2.
Is this correct? The above quoted line seems to imply
otherwise. (?) Also, later in the README file it refers
to "menu". Is menu something you can do only after you've
installed the a series?
The a2 disk should be an msdos fs disk, right? I can
mount -t msdos the a2 disk, but then what? Should I be
doing something with the image.tgz file?
Or, should I just boot from a1, then partition, reboot,
make fs, then doinstall, without dealing with the a2 disk
until doinstall asks for it? Does this mean the README is
out of date or something or am I just reading it wrong?
I've read the SLS.FAQ, README, and c.o.l and c.o.l.a...
apparently no-one has asked this question...I must be missing
something really obvious.
Anyway, any advice will be appreciated.
thanks,
