        Hmmm, judging from those messages, it looks like the new
kernel is looking for the card at 0x280 instead of 0x300 (which is
apparently where you have the card). So either change the card if
possible (don't know about this, I have only had experience with SMC
cards), or change the kernel config file to 0x300 from 0x280. I don't
know exactly where it is, but it is probably under net/tcp in the
linux source tree.
