Subject: Can't install on Expotech 486SX-33
Date: 28 Jul 1993 15:52:12 -0400

I am having trouble installing SLS 1.01 on an Expotech (VTECH) 486SX-33 with
4MB RAM and 245MB Seagate IDE hard drive. When I boot from the A1 disk
(either size, and known good disks), I choose 'ramdisk' or 'floppy' and am
asked about SVGA options (press RETURN or SPACE). At that point, before any
choice is made, the system locks. The VGA card in the system has a CIRRUS
chip set. I tried another VGA card (a generic one) with the same results.
I have read the FAQ and all other info files I could find on tsx. If anyone
can help, please mail me directly and I will summarize to the list.

Thanks in advance,
