I did the same yesterday:-)
-boot up with SLS Disks A1 and A2
-mkdir /hd
-mount -t yourfs /dev/hda1 /hd
^^^^ ->your linux partition
-vi /hd/etc/inittab
correct your inittab
-sync
reboot, thats it.
