This would be very useful, indeed almost essential for a practically
useable dos emulator. The important thing is not just to be able to
run more than one dos window at once, but also to be able to examine
and modify the same files with both dos and linux at the same time.

All the dos networking systems must provide basically the same
sort of feature, so obviously it's not impossible :-). I don't
know how hard it would be to do, though.
