Here are my wishes for one of the next kernel releases. IMHO they are small and
easy to implement but nevertheless usefull esp. for beginners:
        1. Is it possible to configure
                a) the keyboard layout
                b) the root device
                c) the video mode
           'make config'?
        2. It would be great if
                a) the cursor keys
                b) the function keys
           will generate different key sequences when pressed with ctrl or
           alt key (also a nice idea for X11 :-) ).
           This is quite uesful for editors.
