Hi,
The COLOR version of MGR available from the beta directory in
MGR is a VERY beta version. (Actually, might not be even considered
beta ,but more of an ALPHA or something like that) I just put it
there, because some people were interested in color, so as a preview
of things to come, I put it there.

Yes, try refreshing the screen after wards. I added a couple of hacks
into MGR to fix that. (You must have v0.04 version in order to have a
more or less usable version)

This is a documented bug in the compile_font program. In short, if
you use compile_font to create a new default_font.h file, you will get
a messed up font. I had to fix the default_font.h by hand in order to
get a correct looking font. In order to fix that, you must get a new
default_font.h file from the distribution, and make sure it is not
overwritten by compile_font.

All the fonts are compatible with the old one. The default font, is
linked to MGR executable during link time. But you can force MGR to
load a different font if you wanted to by using the -F option:
mgr -F fontname.fnt
