From: tk@pssparc2.mitek.com (Tom Kimball) Subject: SLS 0.98p1: swap space problem Date: Fri, 11 Dec 1992 05:53:23 GMT
I have installed SLS 0.98 patch level 1 and I cannot seem to create any
swap space. I have created a linux swap partition in my extended partition,
I ran mkswap on it and then used swapon to activate it. The problem is that
I don't think it is used because "free" and "free -s" don't report any
swap space. I tried linking /dev/swap to the /dev/hda device I am using
and still no luck. Does anyone have any ideas on what is wrong?
In a related matter, I cannot find the source for the "free" command. Can
anyone give me a pointer?
Thanks.
