FWIW, I'm still planning to launch a spam-proof SMTPD with a postage feature after I get preliminary parts of the system (the per-recipient currencies) sorted, which I've been actively working on.

I imagine <your handle>@kclug.org would be a cool alternate and safe protected e-mail address, like @acm.org can be.

Thanks Andrew.  What we have is an in-house build of mailman that is decades old.  It appears to work.  I haven't checked the archiving system, but basic mail-to-list works.
 
Also, we are not a legal entity and have no budget at all.  Our hosting is generously provided by NetStandard.
